Why Do Our Customers Love Ford Protect?

FAQs

Where can I go for service on my vehicle if I purchase Ford Protect coverage from Granger Ford?

We sell Ford’s official Extended Service Plan, Ford Protect. It’s the same coverage available for purchase at any local Ford dealership. The only difference is that we offer the lowest price available. Coverage is honored at any Ford dealer throughout the U.S., Canada, and Mexico.

When is my vehicle eligible to purchase a Ford Protect Extended Service Plan?

If you have a Ford, we can apply Ford Protect coverage up to 41 months and/or 40,999 miles from the vehicle’s original in-service date.

If you have a Lincoln, we can apply Ford Protect coverage up to 53 months and/or 54,999 miles from the vehicle’s original in-service date.

The original in-service date is the date and mileage when a dealer first sold the vehicle as new.

When will my extended warranty begin and end?

Your warranty begins from your vehicle’s original in-service date and mileage. This is the date and mileage when a dealer first sold the vehicle as new. Coverage expires at the earlier of the number of months purchased or the number of miles purchased.

Is there a difference between Ford Protect and Ford ESP?

No. In 2016 Ford ESP was rebranded to Ford Protect, and the coverage was unchanged.

Can I use my Ford Pass points toward the purchase of Ford Protect?

Yes. Two hundred points equals $1 of credit. Points are not refundable once redeemed.
